This module consists of lectures offered by the Division of Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology through the Oral Medicine Externship Program. This course is designed to inform the dentist and provide insights regarding the decision-making process, the factors that influence decision making, and how to make good judgments. Emphasis is also placed on standards of care, risk management and legal implications regarding the decision made during the practice of dentistry.
