Full course description
This self-paced course helps teenagers develop a wide range of valuable life skills. Each of the eight lessons include interactive videos and knowledge checks led by University of Kentucky professors and community educators. Topics include personal care and mental health; diversity, equity and inclusion; time management and study skills; interpersonal communication; roommate and housekeeping etiquette; job hunting and career development; budgeting and finances; and applying to college.
A digital certificate will be awarded upon the successful completion of all eight lessons. The certificate can be downloaded and printed for the student’s records.
Family members registering on behalf of their teen should use their student's name and contact information to ensure proper delivery of materials and information. Questions may be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
